First of all i want to thank Gretchen,Allyson, Kim and Christine for hanging out and making last night that much better,

First let me say that i got home around 2:30 and now i am off to work (already late) so just a quick summary,

Soundcheck was
Lifetimes
Picture
Home
Wildflower
Real Gone

Johnny, Gretchen tried to get her to play Anything But Down but she didnt.

She seemed like she just woke up before soundcheck because she was yawning alot.

But she was rather chatty,

Thee were 36 people in 5 star, split into 3 groups but there were some no shows so our group only had 8 people in it.

I even got to pet Rexy,

Our seats were awesome we had front row right between Sheryl and Peter, first time i ever had legitimate front row.

Im too tired right now to remember the set list competely, it should be on the tour journal anyways, but Sheryl seemed to be playing with more joy and love for her art than i have seen her before,

Anyways, i ned to go to work now, Thanks again Gretchen, Allyson, Kim and Christine

Without repeating much of what Pete said (I told you you’d beat me to it, Pete) I’ll add that the sound check was from 4:15 to 4:55. Sheryl seemed to have just awoken from a nap, as she was yawning. She did ask for requests during the sound check, someone yelled Volvo Cowboy and I yelled out Anything But Down, she said something about her voice not being able to handle it, and I replied that she needed to yodel, but I don’t think she heard me. She was very chatty during the sound check, they all were, and Tim said something about wanting to sing She’s A Beauty by The Tubes but that didn’t happen.
After sound check we went up in groups for our photos, and I shook Rex’s paw, he is a ham, LOL! The show was great. I was with Pete, Hippie, Chris and Kim. Also met Jessica. The set list is posted. If I think of anything later, I’ll add it.

Edit I just saw that the set list is up- It Don't Hurt wasn't played, much to my dismay. S&S was added, like it says, because Hippie & I took a peek at the setlist before the show and there was no S&S on it. Mikey was proud of his Trophy, too!

My first time at SC show and enjoyed it completely. I had a four star seat and was a little disappointed - ended up in the 9th row though I thought we were going to be closer than that.
Met some great people, especially the two girls next to my husband and me (sorry I didn"t get your names). Everyone seemed to be into the show which made it even better.

Also traveled that 5 star road...well worth it to say the least! My only negative comment is that I'm bummed I didn't know of these fan opportunities sooner. Show was great, our seats were great, the additional niceties (food, beverages, gift bags, VIP parking) were cool AND meeting Sheryl was unbelievable. My wife and I had a memorable evening. I even lucked out to win the grand prize in the pre-show raffle of a beautiful photo of Sheryl that was framed and autographed, so lucky me. :)

Was very nice meeting everyone...especially Jessica, Rachelle and the group at our "lucky table". Have a good day and hope to see you all again at a future area show!

Didn't really think this 'Joanna' was the best choice for a Sheryl audience. I thought her band were pretty decent musicians but her stage performance seemed aimed at the TRL demographic. Didn't care for her so much yet she was very stylish with her 'Bedazzler-ed ' jeans.

She kind of reminded me of Ashley Simpson...mostly because I was watching intently after I noticed a few extended vocal notes as the mike was moving away from her lips. Could've been a delay effect on vocals but it sure looked like an unforgivable act to me. Hope I was wrong. Lip-synchers should be lined up and dealt with via firing squad. I volunteer the Simpson sisters for the first volley! :)
